He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick J. MacDonald and Emily Louise Moss MacDonald; his sister Kathleen Fridmann of Horseheads, NY; and his son Karl Frederick MacDonald. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hastings of Albion; his granddaughter Heather MacDonald of Chesterfield, MI; his brother Sandy; his sister-in-law Rosemary MacDonald of Grand Rapids, MI; and his sisters, Daryl Sharement of Ann Arbor, MI and Ann Jackson of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends.
