It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Curtis-X of Lansing, Michigan, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mae Jackson and Readie Curtis; and his siblings, Earnest Shannon Curtis, James Curtis (Buster), Alma Funchess and Joe Curtis.

He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Major, William Thomas, Frank Curtis (Tangela), Readie Curtis and Willie Curtis Sr.; his grandchildren, Deondra Curtis, Shannon Curtis, Claudia Johnson, Willie Curtis Jr., Tavion Harden, Armas Curtis, Eli Curtis, Ian Curtis, Surae Curtis, Ranni Curtis and Ruby Curtis; his great grandchildren, JaQuesha Curtis-Clark (Rodrikus), Zahira of Washington, Jamari'a Curtis, DeQuan Mitts, Yasmine of Washington, Ahkeim Johnson, Ty'Juan Peterson and Courtney Clary; and his siblings-in-law, Geneva Curtis (Joe) and Dexter Thomas. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
