She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Guerrero and Maria Guerrero; her husband Felix Mendez; her son Felix Mendez Jr.; and her siblings, Jesse, Joe, Domingo Guerrero, Julia Brown and Hope Paez. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sparrow Hospice of Mid-Michigan.
