She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Emmons and Fern Emmons; her husband Burton Peter Brayton; her sister Ila Green; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Saelens and W. Henry Green.
She is survived by: her daughter Constance Garlitz (Patrick); her grandchildren, Peter Garlitz (Susanna), Philip Garlitz (Brandy Falsetta), David Garlitz (Branda), Dominique Laurion and Faith Laurion; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Andrew, Mary, Stephen, Philip II, Evelyn and Gabriel Garlitz; and her sister Marion Saelens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to St. Mary Cathedral or the U of M C.S. Mott Pediatric Neurology Department.
