She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidro Hurtado and Librada Hurtado (Rodriguez); her husband Ruben C. Perez; her brother Humberto Hurtado; her son Francisco Perez; her daughter-in-law Sandy Perez; and her great grandchild Michael Ranshaw.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Ibarra (Joe), Hector Perez (Peggy) and Ruben D. Perez; her grandchildren, Joe Ibarra Jr., Melissa Ibarra (Michael Ranshaw), Nancy Jo Perez, Cory Perez, Jeff Perez, Kyle Perez (Danielle), Jordan Perez, Michelle Lawson, Justin Perez (Jeanna), Liz Ward (Cal) and Amanda Garcia; and her brother Ralph Hurtado (Erma). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
