She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Moore of Canton, Mississippi. and Bessie Moore (Luckett) of Canton, Mississippi.; her husband Theoplis Mitchell, Sr.; and her children, Lorraine Seawood Amos, Sharon Witherspoon of Lansing, Londell Mitchell of Lansing, Theoplis Mitchell Jr. of Lansing and Annell McIntyre (Cookie) of Charlotte. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 25 great- and 7 great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
