He is survived by: his sons, Elton Jones (Liza) of Lansing and Nathaniel Jones (Washeema) of New Jersey; his stepdaughter Lakeisha McClain of Lansing; his siblings, Patricia Simmons of Lansing, Fannie Jones of Lansing, Odessa Jones of Lansing, Ervin Jones of Lansing, Anthony Jones (Angela) of Lansing, Gilbert Jones (Hilda) of Lansing and Otis Jones of Lansing; his nieces and nephews, Antoinette Jones (Edwin), Charina, Anthony McCoullem, Jamari Bibbs and Christopher Ethridge (LaToya); and his close friend Dionne McClain. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
