He is survived by: his wife Mariam Azzam; his siblings, Khalil, Jamil, Fouad and Helen Shamas; his children, Salime Azzam of Sweden, Souad Abou-Chaya of Lebanon, Nicolas Azzam of Lansing, Joseph Azzam (Elsa) of Greece, Ferris Azzam (Liddy) of St. Louis, Tony Azzam of Greece, Fadia Azzam of Sweden and Fadi Azzam of Greece; and his grandchildren, Mirna, Caroline, Michael, Roy, Asma, Merilla, Manal, Elian, Elie, Samuel, Ilias, Jouana, Marie, Joseph, Ivan, Vienna, Calvin, Timothy, Marko, Ilianna and Daniel. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
