He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cooper and Betsy Cooper (VanderVeen); his stepdaughter Marcia Eldred; his brother Ward; his sister-in-law Laura Cooper; and his brother Roy Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Cooper (Carolyn), John Cooper (Casandra), Carole Schulte (Mark), Sharon Buss (Philip) and Christina Lawrence (Jon); his stepsons, Daryl Eldred and Loren Eldred; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Cooper. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Ingham County Medical Care Facility or Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
