He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Quin Scott, Sr. and Katie Pauline Gladstone. He is survived by: his sons, Doug, Mike, Patrick Scott and Jeffrey Scott; his siblings, James Whidden and Ruth Allen; and also, Duane Scott (Deb), L. J. Scott (Robin) and Darlene Johnson (Michael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
