He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Stephens and Betty Stephens (Cottell); and his sister Esma Alice Kline. He is survived by: his wife Anna Catherine Meyer; his children, David Stephens (Rochelle) of Lambertville, MI and Julie Traver of Williamston, MI; his grandchildren, Kyle Stephens, Eric Stephens, Sean Traver (Monica) and Sarah Sheridan (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Beau and Sloane Sheridan. He is also survived by his wife and children.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Douglas' memory may do so through contributions to the Music Ministry at Mount Hope United Methodist Church in Lansing.
