With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Duane Gilbert of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Julie; his siblings, Mary and Jim; his children, Lucinda, Dawn (Frank), Ronald, Angela, Lisa (John) and Randy (Jennifer); his stepson Reggie; his grandchildren, Chad, Nathan, Danielle, Skylar, Logan, Chase and Tabitha; his mother-in-law Ellie Sandborn; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Stump (Tim) and Jon Hayden (Anne).
