She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Ehrenmann and Irmgart Ehrenmann (Leichtfuss); and her grandson David Rector. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Card; her daughters, Joni Smith and Theresa Doerr (David); her sister Babel Colm; her sister-in-law Jean Skornicka (Joseph); her grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Bryan Doerr (Heidi) and Sarah Totten (Cris); her nephew Joseph; and her nieces, Susan, Eva and Elena. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Donations to the Capital Area Humane Society under her name is her wish.
