It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald William Morgan (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Morgan and Ruby Morgan; his son Glenn; his in-laws, Fred Somes Sr. and Lois Somes; his brother-in-law Fred Somes Jr.; and his close friends, Tom Merrifield and Neil Harmon.
He is survived by: his children, Todd and Gail; his son-in-law David Schupbach; his brother Robert; his grandchildren, Katie, Nate, Ayden and Ruby Schupbach; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Somes (Bonnie), Thom Somes (Cindy) and Lorraine Somes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel (3232 W Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48917).
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Don's name to the Capital Area Humane Society or Buddy's PALs, in honor of his granddog, Sadie.
