It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee Starkweather of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Starkweather and Meta M. Starkweather (Dalius); his daughter Renee Starkweather; his great grandchild Ryan Bennett; and his brother Lynn Starkweather.
He is survived by: his close friend Marjorie McKenzie; his children, David Starkweather and Krista Eavey; his grandchildren, Champagne Starkweather, Dalton Speckin (Danielle), Samantha Bennett (Gavin) and Jeffrey Speckin; his great grandchildren, Ernie, Everett, Colton, Lexi and Elliott; and his sister Donna Mills (Richard).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home & Cremation Services (406 N Bridge St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
