She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon F. Schafer and Burlene R. Schafer; her brother David K. Schafer; her brother-in-law Everett B. Deese, Jr.; and her nephew Jason Deese.
She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Deese, James (Janet) and Ken (Ann); and her sister-in-law Carol Schafer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
