He was predeceased by: his son Eddie Bunnell; his parents, David Bunnell and Ruth Bunnell Sr. (Galloway); and his siblings, Athan Bunnell (Gladys Opal), Walter Bunnell (Jessie Gladys), William Thomas Bunnell (Louise), Ruth Kathreen England (James), Mary Etna England (Raymond), James Earl Bunnell (Annie), Samuel Bunnell (Lillie Jane), Myra Magdalene Dunagan (James), Paul Lewis Bunnell (Virginia) and Rebecca Kirby (Odell).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bunnell; his children, Stephen Bunnell (Beverly), Scott Bunnell (Monica), Anthony "Andy" Bunnell (Ronda) and Debra Willard (Randall); and his grandchildren, DeeAnn Hogan (Chris), Stacy Eaton, Jason Eaton, Faith Bunnell, Myra Bunnell, Rebecca Spurlock (Allen), Korbin Bunnell (Heather), Cayden Bunnell (Rachel), Megan Rohde (Jake), Zacariah Willard, Caycie Willard, Audrey Bunnell and Gabriel Bunnell. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
