He is survived by: his mother Rita Jacobs (Stephenson); his daughter Magdelene Barbara Jacobs; his friend Caroline Jacobs; and his sisters, Julie Vandenboom (Mark) of Lansing, Elizabeth Arflin (Tony) of South Carolina and Lara Cruttenden (Hope) of Missouri.
