He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Shaffer and Doris Shaffer (Fralic); his former wife Jean Shaffer; and his siblings, Ray Durtche, David, Gary Shaffer and Jodi Lurch.
He is survived by: his wife Robin (Rumfield); his children, Tim Means (Denene), Dylan Shaffer (Amy Stuk), Eric Brace, Aaron Brace and Candace Raines (Jordan); his grandchildren, Ashlee, Caleb, Gage, Peyton, Riley, Sloane, Parker, Quinn, Ilo and Everly; and his siblings, Sharon White, Cliff Shaffer and Eddie Shaffer.
