He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren H. Tickle and June C. Tickle (Snow); and his brothers, Clayton R. Tickle and Douglas D. Tickle. He is survived by: his wife Judith Tickle (Maher); and his children, Steven Tickle and Amy Barr-Tickle (Emily). He is also survived by one granddaughter, and three great granddaughters.
