He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Straseske and Marian Straseske; and his brother Ken Straseske. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Jane; his daughter Kristen Gronemeyer (Frank); his siblings, Sandi Lloyd (Tim) and Tom Straseske (Shirley); his grandchildren, Alex Gronemeyer (Jenessa), Caleb Gronemeyer (Margaret), Tori Vanguard (Dylan) and Rachel Gronemeyer; and his great grandchildren, Harvey and Octavius Gronemeyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home (206 W Lawrence Ave, Charlotte, MI 48813).
