She was predeceased by: her father Caldwell Dixon; her stepfather Rev. Walter R. Howard "Pop"; her husband Travis L. Brooks; and her mother Verta Wilson Dixon Howard. She is survived by: her daughter Angela M. Brooks; her grandsons, Edward and Howard Andry; her uncle Leroy Wilson; and her cousins, Ruzie Bondurant (Billy), Bob Riddle, Velma Riddle and Deron Riddle (Edwina). She is also survived by several cousins and numerous friends.
