She is survived by: her husband John Edward Couthen; her children, Deborah Parris, Delinda Thomas (Arthur), John Couthen Jr. (Dawn) and Delesa Royal (Reginald); her grandchildren, Rasha Thomas (Vontresse), Nicole Cain (Ishmael), LeChele Paris (Deborah Mitchell), Janaya Royal, John Couthen (Carly), Sean Royal, Heather Johnson (Kristian) and Daniel Couthen; her great grandchildren, Shaylah Pulley, Chase Parris, Chelsea Parris, Asiah Pulley, Jaida Thomas, Ariyah Royal, Carson Parris, Javon Thomas, Kameron Couthen, Savanna Collins, London Couthen, Tajh Cain and Aaliyah Royal; and her siblings, James McIntosh (Juliet), Willie Laura Williams (Chess), John McIntosh (Joyce), Elijah McIntosh (Barbera), Jerry McIntosh (Lois), Betty Norwood, Elaine Hayes, Ruby Bryant and Jackie McIntosh (Ruth). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
