It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Mary Ries of Lansing, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Anthony Charles; and her siblings, Rick Brodeur and Marilyn Bedell. She is survived by: her children, Peter Ries (Kristin), Jennifer Ries (Darrean Dunn) and Jamie Toste (Mike); her grandchildren, Peter A., Kathleen, Timothy, Benjamin, Thomas, Abigail, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Emily Ries, Isaac Ries, Kashaunda, Ashly and Raven Dunn; her great grandchildren, Jalissa, Rodney, Aliyah, Camie Sue and Omiyah; her former husband Peter John Ries; her siblings, Anthony Brodeur (Thu), Thomas Brodeur (Chris) and Michele Haywood (David); and her siblings-in-law, John "Jack" Bedell and Bonnie Brodeur. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
