With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Michael Zimmerman of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Zimmerman and Alma J. Zimmerman (Mack); and his siblings, Thomas Zimmerman and Dana Zimmerman. He is survived by: his brother Greg Zimmerman (Barbara); his wife Monica Marie Boyer; his stepsons, Byron and Nicholas; his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Maggie and Stacy (Tristan Cole); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Etta, Adeleine May and Ruby; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Boyer Myers (David), Mary Boyer Joslyn (Dan), Patricia Boyer Slaughter (late Russel), Barbara Boyer Smutz, Joseph Boyer (Jennifer), H. John Boyer (Marsha) and Francis Boyer (Sally); and also AnnLisa Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vietnam Veterans, Special Olympics Area 8 and the American Cancer Society in honor of Charles.
