He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leon Hamilton and Ruth Hamilton (Gowing); his children, Elaine Hamilton, Charles Hamilton (Cindy) and John Hamilton (Sheila); his grandchildren, Doreen Minnard (John), Ryan Rigas (Marla), Charles Hamilton, Jessica Schneider (Nathan), Jennifer Cole (Scott) and Shannon Knopf (Jedidiah); his wife Joan; and his brothers, Don and Robert Hamilton. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Charles Hamilton to the American Diabetes Association; St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or the Alzheimer's Association of Michigan.
