He is survived by: his wife Judy Bolinger (Girtman); his children, Kent Bolinger (Amy) of Lansing, Kenneth Bolinger of Saginaw and Karla Bolinger of Lansing; his grandchildren, Kyle Bolinger, Peter Bolinger and Lorisa Wilson (Kade) of Sheridan, Indiana.; his siblings, Steve Bolinger (Sally) of Flint, Bob Bolinger (Carol) of Alton, Neil Bolinger (Kathy) of Evansville, Bruce Bolinger (Fredia) of Sebring, Kenneth Bolinger (Tanya) of Nashville, Duane Bolinger (Nancy) of Belleville and Becky Sullivan (Steve) of O'Fallon; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Blake of Fairview Heights and Karen Bolinger of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Apostolic Church (360 Clement Rd, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He resigned in 2005, because of the Parkinson's disease that controlled his body.
