With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carol Smith of Lansing, Michigan, whose life came to an end on January 11, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Satterlee and Geraldine Satterlee (Counseller); her husband Charles Smith; her stepson Robert Smith; her brother-in-law John Smith; and her grandmother Jan.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Smith (Kimberly) and Kenneth Smith (Julie); her stepchildren, Pamela Dragisic (Richard) and Glen Smith (Diane Alspaugh); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Smith (Cody Young), Taylor Smith, Audrey Smith, Brian Dragisic, Jacob Dragisic (Tricia), Angela Southworth (Jon), Tod Smith (Dana), Craig Smith (Mindy), Jason Smith (Angela), Jarrod Smith and April Lowery (Nick); her sisters, Patricia Smith and Connie Siefker; and her half-brother Daniel Duncan. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society or The Salvation Army in Carol's name.
