It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Anna (Long Legs) Murchison (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Carol was loved and adored by many. She lived in Lansing, Mi for over 74 years. She started the Democratic Service Company back in 1975. Which has helped so many government officials with their campaign. She loved cooking and reading her newspapers. Carol continued to work in the community with hosting fundraiser. She was a great friend, mother, grandmother and fighter.
On Thursday, April 13th 2023 Carol transitioned home leaving behind to cherish her love and memories, her children Pauline Murchison and Darnell Murchison; grandchildren Moneka Murchison (Biloxi Ms) Darnell Murchison Jr. and Etoi Murchison (Lansing, Mi). Her best friend Rometa Brown (Chicago Il) and many more friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 16th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the 333 E Michigan Ave (333 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48933). A reception will be held on Sunday, April 16th 2023 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
