He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Laing and Dorothy Laing (Pohly); and his wife Paulette Laing. He is survived by: his children, David Laing (Kirsten), Jonathan Laing (Barbara) and Michelle Laing; and his grandchildren, Jordan Laing, Nathan Laing, Liberty Reiner, AJ Reiner and Caden Laing.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in memory of Carl, to Redeemer's Camp Scholarship Fund.
