She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Blocker, Sr. and Wilma Peeler; her husband Slyvester Hoard; her siblings, Charlie, William of Washington, Ortho Blocker, Jr., Taylor Blocker, Sr., Ellen Anthony and Dortha Valley; her children, Willie Fletcher, Samuel Blocker, Jr. and Slyvia Hoard; and her grandchildren, Curtis Wade, Jr. and Kahlil Hoard.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Hoard, Lamar Hoard of Phenix City, Lamont Hoard of Birmingham, Duane Hoard, Tony Hoard of Lansing, Michigan, Emma Cunningham (Larry) of Flint and Kierra Hoard-Ellington (Rory) of Lansing, Michigan; her stepson Joe Davis (Lois); her siblings, Thelma Webb-Valley of Carbondale, Lula Haywood of Pulaski, Illinois and Fred Blocker (Beulah) of Lansing, Michigan; and her close friend Allen Childress. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 32 great -great-grandchildren.
