He was predeceased by: his parents, Burhan Thabit, and Elease Thabit, Sr.; and his brothers, Vannest Ervin and Ronald Green. He is survived by: his wife Leona Thabit; his godchildren, Mark, Kim, Florence and Christopher; his siblings, Lahine Lane Davis and Sylvester Thabit (Theresa) of Denver; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ervin, Sandra Green, Ardell Bradley (Michael) of Lansing, MI and Bell Smith of Memphis, TN; and his cousins, Ricahrd, Linda and James, Jr..
