She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Howard and Caroline Howard (Wood); and her husband John J. Bosanic. She is survived by: her children, Brian Bosanic of DeWitt, MI, Todd Bosanic (Liz) of East Lansing, MI and Lisa Smith (Camden) of Holt, MI.; her grandchildren, Taylor, Ty, Zoe Bosanic, Benjamin, Calvin Bosanic, Jordan and Ashton Smith; and her siblings, Leroy Howard (Carol), Randy Howard (Jody), Rick Howard (Tincey), Patricia Moore (Gene) and Marcey Norton (Andy).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Betty's name be sent to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, or Haven House in East Lansing.
