He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Mary Konecny, Sr. (Sedlar); and his brothers, Gilbert and Fred. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Turnbull; his children, Joseph Konecny (Christine) of Perry, Julie Penfield (Jeff) of Stanwood, MI and Jeannie Philips of Morrice; his siblings, Mary Geller (John) of St. Johns, Ann Oswald (Lonnie) of Ithaca and Tony Konecny (Barb) of Corunna; and his sister-in-law Glenda Konecny of Ithaca. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church in Morrice or the Lansing Humane Society.
