It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belinda Davis (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxine Davis and J. D. Davis, Jr.; her grandparents, Mary, James H. Davis, Willie Mae Bates and J. D. Davis, Sr.; her brother Ron Davis; her nephew Termaine Brooks, Jr.; and her son Kwabena Ardis Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Willie James Davis of Lansing, Tyrone Lamar Davis (Fatima) of Romulus, Kofi Johnson, Sr. and Kia Johnson; her grandchildren, Dominque Rocha, Sienna Harden, Alexis Delgado, Famoun Miller (Candice), Ardis Davis, Tyronique Davis, Tamia Brown and Tay (Veon Davis); her siblings, Dawn Lyvonne Davis of Lansing, Beverly Ann Davis of Lansing, Rosalind Ann Davis of Lansing, Sheleatha Davis-Brown of Detroit, Michigan and J. D. Davis, III of Lansing, Michigan; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Maxine, Gaberella Brooks, Termaine Brooks, Sr. and Ronald Davis; her aunts and uncles, Ruby Lee Bates (Henry), Mary Ruth Plummer (Henderson), Mozella Rhodes, Charles Edward Bates and James Herbert Davis, Jr.; and her close friend Diane Gilliam. She is also survived by many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
