He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Makries and Velda Tropf; and his stepfather Leo Tropf. He is survived by: his son Cody Makries (Elizabeth Armstrong); his grandsons, Dylan and Blake Makries; and his sister Christine Janetzke (Carl).
