It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Huntingdon Elbers in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Elbers and John Elbers; his former wife Phyllis Porter Elbers; his daughter Christine Mills Smyer; and his son-in-law Raymond Smyer.
He is survived by: his wife Lonnie; and his children, John Elbers (Nancy), Eugene Mills (Carol), Jessica Gunn (Charles), Elizabeth Droste (Michael), Karen Aldenhuysen (Robert) and Carol Wils (Kenneth). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pray Funeral Home (401 W Seminary St, Charlotte, MI 48813). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of Lansing.
