She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Compo and Elsie Compo (Jackson); and her brothers, Joey and Jamie Compo. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Calhoun of Lansing; her children, Samantha Bonilla (Anthony) of Lansing, Justine Compo (Deshone Embry) of Lansing and Alvin Compo of Lansing; her grandchildren, Xaviah, Delyan, Juan, Jr., As'Aleigha, Onyx and Eszahlynn; her siblings, Kimberly Stowell (Angel Alvarez) of Mt. Pleasant, Howard Compo (Ashley Alexander) of Wilson and Harold Compo (Kari); her nephews, Matthew Epps, Christopher Epps, Tom Epps, Zheesheeb Compo and Stone Compo; and her niece Veronica Epps.
