He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Benavides and Maria Benavides; and his siblings, Rodolfo Benavides, David Benavides, Ofilia Reyner and Hector Benavides.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Sandra Reisz (Andrew), Carmen Dziewit (Mark), Ricardo Benavides (Cynthia) and Eduardo Benavides (Angela); his grandchildren, Michelle, Michael (Amanda), Erin, Milan, Johann, Leonardo and Casimiro; his great grandchildren, Viviana, James, Vincent, Oliver and Lila; and his sisters, Helen Maysonet and Virginia Flores. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
