He was predeceased by: his father Paul Cunningham; and his sister Wilma Jean Davis Mull. He is survived by: his mother Madeline Cunningham; his children, Angela Lunsford of Fort Worth, Julia E. Cunningham of Tallahassee, Florida, Miguel Cunningham (Tia) of Snellville, Maurice Woods (Natasha) of Grand Rapids, Charles Smith (Shonda) of Atlanta and André Cunningham II (Constance) of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Nancy Peterson, Michael (Remy), Paul (Ann), Denny, Jeffrey (Edna), Zackary (Carol) and Juan; and his godson Preston Watson.
