She was predeceased by: her husband George Eldridge; her daughter-in-law Anne Flynn; and her sister Barbara Jewel. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Flynn (Michael Nealon) of Okemos, MI, Susan Flynn of Richmond, VA and Allen Flynn of Nags Head, NC; her grandchildren, Brenna Danatzko, Colleen Flynn and Patrick Flynn; her great grandchildren, Michael and Ryan; and her sister Elmina Tatum.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Episcopal Church (6500 Amwood Dr, Lansing, MI 48911). A burial was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Recently, Amy lived as a resident of The Regency where she received loving care from a large circle of health care professionals who nursed her through the pandemic and COVID, as well as a broken shoulder, and a broken hip.
However, it was always her desire that upon her death, donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
