He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McCoy and Sarah McCoy (Tapani); his former wife Alice K. McCoy; his stepdaughter Vicki Peterson; his siblings, James McCoy and Marian Williams; and his sister-in-law Joanne McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice McCoy of L'Anse; his daughters, Bonnie Fick (Doug) of Lapeer, MI, Sarah Smith (Chad) of Clinton, TN and Pamela McCoy (Alan) of Waterford, MI; his stepchildren, Michael Rautio (Wendy) of Gwinn, MI, Mark Rautio (Lisa) of Ishpeming, MI and Jacqueline Froiland (Peter) of Hancock, MI; and his stepson-in-law Reuben Peterson of L'Anse. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren.
