He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilmar Maki (Tassy) and Florence Maki (Nelson); his grandchildren, Hunter Taavola and Morgan Maki; his brothers, Burton, Arlen "Sonny" and Clyde Maki; his father-in-law Wilho Laitinen; and his siblings-in-law, Del Harma, Vernon Laitinen, Carolyn Maki and Della Laitinen.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Maki; his children, Laura Harry (Chris), Jeffrey Maki (Dina), Kristine Bock and Wendy Taavola (Lee); his grandchildren, Christopher Harry, Jr., Danielle Kilpela (Billy), Jory Wright (Alyson), Elizabeth Wright (Josh Tobison), Makenna Taavola, Jakob Maki and Ava Taavola; his great grandchildren, Holden, Sawyer, Elias and Aletta Harry; his siblings, Beverley Harma, Barbara Krumm and Bruce Maki (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Sharon Maki. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service - Mt. View Chapel (14 7th St, South Range, MI 49963). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
