She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Miilu and Martha Miilu (Autio); her husband Edward Taipalus; and her brother-in-law Edward Testen. She is survived by: her children, Alan Taipalus of L'Anse, Carol Mattox (Erik) of Aura and Linda Taipalus of L'Anse; her siblings, Ronald Miilu (Cassie) of Mass City, MI and Judy Testen of L'Anse; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Klerkx (Larry) of Interlochen and Joan Kotcher of Escanaba. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
