He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kemppainen of L'Anse; his siblings, Jane Kemppainen of Allen, Robert Kemppainen (Kathy) of South Lyon, MI and Sally Huta (Mike) of Menominee, MI; and his stepchildren, Wayne Selden (Maxine) of Iron River, MI, Todd Selden of Keweenaw Bay, MI and Tracy Selden-Pirkola (Louis Moilanen) of L'Anse. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
