He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Waisanen and Julia Waisanen (Lahti); his son Joseph Waisanen; and his siblings, Louise Waisanen, Ralph Waisanen and Eva Waisanen.
He is survived by: his children, Justin Waisanen (Sara) of San Antonia, TX and Carrie Waisanen of Columbus, OH; his former wife Debbie Darkfyre of L'Anse; his sister Evelyn Dimkoff of Kalamazoo, MI; and his grandsons, Joshua and Thomas Waisanen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacobson Funeral Home (200 L Anse Ave, L'Anse, MI 49946). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
