He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Markus and Aleck Ripple; and his siblings, Juanita, Jack (Patricia), Virginia Hudson (William), Mary Ann, Lila and Gordon (Doris).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Graap; his children, Jeff (Mike), Todd (Sharlene), Greg (Holly), Paul (Marianna), Amy Petersen (Charles) and Katy Christensen (Daniel); his sister Helen; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandria Petersen, Remy, Celia Ripple, Grace and Hazel Christensen; and his stepgrandchildren, Christine, Kenny, Mary Gilbert, Michael and McKenzie Dennis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
