It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Frances Rodriguez (Lanse, Michigan), who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florian Gretz and Margaret Gretz (Baer); her former husbands, Frank Geren, Elmer Frederick Fox (Fritz) and Isaac Rodriguez; her son Ray Geren; her son-in-law Charles Dyer; her siblings, Helen Freer, Pearl Kjer, Evelyn Berlin, Margaret Barnes, Mabel Mullen, Ethel Dasso and Earl Gretz; and her grandson Frankie Geren.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy, Tom Geren (Lori) of Idaho, Carrie Dyer of California and Peg Merrill (Jim) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Sean Geren (Janette) of Utah, Lani Madison (Sean) of Washington, Gene Geren (Renee) of Alaska, Richie Geren of Utah, Jack Merrill, Joe Merrill and Eliot Merrill of Michigan; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Evan, Claudia, Anthony, Kaylee, Kirsten, Kylie, Ronnie and Cody; and her great great grandchildren, Lincoln, Allyana and Amir. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was able to share in all of our birthday and holiday celebrations until the pandemic, and then during 2021, family was finally able to go in to Maryhill Manor to spend those special days there with her.
