He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Wirtz and Catherine Wirtz; and his sisters, Shirley Martin and Doris Self. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Wirtz; his children, Jeanne Sommerville, Eileen Stephens, Anita Wirtz, Dan Wirtz, Doug Wirtz, Derek Wirtz, Diane Wirtz, Sean and Mick Wirtz; his grandchildren, Bryce, Ja'Ki, Alexandria, Christopher, Bryan, Eric, Todd, Amy, Teddy, Matthew, Emily, Krystal, Tyler, Taryn, Mickey, Maddie and Sage; and his brother Robert Wirtz of Chelsea. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
