He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Helen Smith (White); his father-in-law Vern Sweet; and his brothers-in-law, Jim and Dave Sweet.
He is survived by: his close friend Skip; his wife Bonnie Smith (Sweet); his children, Deborah Wagenhauser (Craig) and Daniel Smith (Stacy); his grandchildren, Tarah, Reis and Darren; his great grandchildren, Marley and Norah; and his brother Roger Smith (Carol). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
